Zhenchao Zhong, M.S.
Zhenchao Zhong, from Hefei, Anhui, joined in Li lab after graduating from South China Normal University with a master’s degree in psychology. I’m concerned about the arising and maintenance mechanism of social play behavior in adolescence, and focus on in the development of social behavior of adolescent animals through pharmacological and genetic methods, expecting to discover the mystery of social development.
Name
Yuanqing Zhang M.S.
Yuanqing joined Li lab at March in 2022. She completed her master degree in biomedical engineering at Zhejiang University, where she investigated the auditory perception of awake marmoset using in vivo electrophysiology. Marmosets are among only a handful of non-human primates that, like humans, routinely pair bond and care cooperatively for their young. However, it is entirely unknown how the marmoset distinguishes their partners with other individuals of opposite-sex and generate different behavioral and emotional responses. Therefore, Yuanqing is particularly interested in developing microendoscope-based calcium imaging approaches to study the neural mechanism of social recognition in freely behaving marmosets.
